Why DIY NUTRITION?

If you’ve been wanting to get to the bottom of your nutrition for a while now but don’t have the time/energy/cash for 1:1 coaching, DIY NUTRITION was made for you.

The masterclass was created for those who want 1:1 nutrition coaching without the 1:1 price tag. Basically, I’m going to take you on the same journey I use for my 1:1 clients – I’ll teach you the fundamentals of nutrition, share my process and tools and you become your own coach.

My goal is weight loss/strength gain/etc. Is DIY NUTRITION a good fit?

Yes. Yes, yes yes. DIY NUTRITION will teach you how to assess your nutrition and adjust for any goal or mix of goals you have. Even better – we’ll leave ya with the knowledge you need to make changes and adapt to any future goals you have down the line. 

If you have aesthetic, performance, or health goals but don’t know how to meet them – we’re for you.

It looks like I need to track macros. What if I don’t want to track macros?

See those Insta-influencers obsessing over every gram while tracking their macros? Eating weird combinations of foods for dinner just to get them? Spending whole days searching and entering foods into their diary? 

That ain’t us.

In DIY NUTRITION, we *will* use macros for a short time, but we’ll use them to help us get a clear view of what is actually in the foods we are eating, figure out how to build a balanced meal that hits our targets and take that knowledge away so that we’re able to stop tracking them when we no longer want to (but hold on to our goals). They are a tool to the end goal (what you need to know about food) not the end goal itself. 

Come along and let me show you how to use macros in a way that isn’t super time-intensive and certainly isn’t forever.

What if I can’t make some of the dates for the live sessions?

We knoooow life is busy. Not all sessions are going to work for everyone and so we’ve figured that one out, too. All the DIY Nutrition sessions will be recorded for your review & sent to you after the session. That way, you can catch up on anything you’ve missed, choose to access the class when you’d like if your preference isn’t in a live group setting or re-watch any parts you want on demand. 

Additionally, we’ve added a make-up hour to this round: if you need to miss one or more sessions, you’ll be invited to a smaller group session to ask your questions and get live coaching then and there. We’re here for ya, whatever it takes.

How is DIY NUTRITION different from The Rebel Method?

If you were around some years ago, you might remember that we ran a pilot group coaching program called The Rebel Method – and while the idea was seriously fantastic…I won’t lie to you here – I did too much. Like 10 weeks of everything-you-could-ever-want-to-know-and-then-some too much. 

But after years more experience, I’ve leeeeearned. Boy have I learned. 

I’ve learned that if we don’t all NEED to know everything there is to know about food science and behaviour change to get what you want out of our food, that brainspace is better spent remembering who is responsible for picking up the kiddo from daycare that day, or the next big work project coming down the pipeline. 

I’ve learned that most of us just want to walk into a grocery store confidently, pick up what we need to make ourselves and our families feel good and healthy in their bodies and get the hell out of there.
